Dark Eyes is one of the original kids. She was a stray Wheels and company picked up at the mall. Of all those original kids Dark Eyes has changed the most. Besides the physical changes she has endured during the crossover wars she as aged ten years more than her friends due to an accidental time travel accident. She has a mate and children. Not only that she is a grandmother. She is now the head medical officer of the Institute. A situation that upset her and was partially brought on by Hindu Kush’s actions. I never like stories where everything remains static. Life is corrosive and changes everything. Hindu Kush in many ways is following in Dark Eyes foot steps. And Dark Eyes now the grizzled veteran watches this new member of the community and the irony is not lost on her.
