HK never lived on Dog island, but Sierra Nevada did. Her mother sent her to Haven to kill Bollard Ironkeel for some reason. Remember Sierra Nevada was mind-controlled. When she got to Haven, the evil wizard shifted the whole town to an alternate earth. What's been called the Peterson realm? The ship rock her mother's hold and freed Sierra Nevada’s mind. She met Bel and became best friends. She was there until Wheels and company arrived and rescued the town folk. Then she met Plug and they’ve been playing house ever since.
So as a result this trip is not making the elder sister too happy.
