Stormy remembers what Spar said about not reaching Puberty for decades and then going through it for decades after due to her slowed dragon-rider aging. She just had the Goddess’ Herald tell her that Goddess feels she owes Spar and Stormy a reward. Stormy being the friend she is asked for Spars problem to be fixed without her losing the dragon rider blessings. So if the Goddess restored her aging Soar would die after a normal lifetime. Her dragons would die too. That would be an unsatisfactory outcome. So the Goddess just bumped her up a decade. A drop in the bucket for a dragon rider. Apparently the process was a little unpleasant.
