The Priests are kind of hacked off at Wander and his order. Priests have a long intricate initiation which includes vow's of celibacy. They are very into getting paid for healing due to a past where priests were enslaved. Just to add insult to injury Dark Eyes has a habit of removing priests powers and giving them to people more sympathetic to Wander.
