Silver Strip and Blue were taken into captivity at a very young are. About the same time Dark Eyes ran away to the Mall to learn to be a healer. Blue has been fortunate. She has joined with a dragon and gotten Mage powers. Her future is assured,(as long as she keeps her head down). Silver Stripe on the other hand has no powers and little education. Her best friend and older sister have amazing futures. All Silver Strip can think of in her despair is a future in an arranged mating with a male who has so few prospects he does not mind a badly scared mate. We must talk to the author this cannot be allowed to stand!
