In world war two bomber crews were know to push a critiically wounded crewman out of the aircraft over enemy territory in hopes that the Germans would give him medical attention. The trip back for hours in damaged aircraft in sub zero temps would have been a death sentance for sure. I was thinking about that as i wrote this strip.
